Fine as a treat

Can dogs eat radish, jicama, okra and turnip?

These root and pod vegetables are safe plain and in small amounts. Radish is peppery and many dogs will not want it.

How to prepare it

Washed, plain, raw or cooked, cut small. Jicama must be peeled — the skin and vine are toxic.

Never in this form
