Can dogs eat raw and green potato?
Do not feed raw, green or sprouting potato. Cooked white potato flesh is fine — it is the green parts and the sprouts that contain solanine.

Do not wait for symptoms and do not try to make your dog sick unless a vet has told you to — some substances cause more damage coming back up. Have your dog's weight, what was eaten, roughly how much, and when, ready before you call.
What to do
Call a vet if a green or sprouting potato was eaten. Plain cooked potato needs no action.

When: 2–12 hours.
What makes it harmful
Solanine and chaconine, glycoalkaloids
These inhibit cholinesterase and irritate the gut. They concentrate in the skin, in any green areas and in sprouts, and are largely destroyed by cooking.
